Christmas Crafting

Ok so the big day has come and gone and now I can post some photos of some of the gifts I made for people this year. I think I may have given myself to much to do this christmas and I was finishing these gifts right up to the days I needed to be giving them so I haven’t managed to take a photo of everything I made. Sorry, will do better next time.

patchwork cushions

First up we have the patchwork cushions that my mum wanted

hand knit socks

My sisters got a pair of socks each

knit hand warmers with pouch

My nan got these hand warmers with a pouch to hold heat pads

knit hand warmers

They are fingerless so that they can be used indoors or worn under gloves for extra coziness when going out

Other items made but not shown here are: some millionaire’s shortbread, which I’m sure I will make again so will photo another time; a hat with ears :S; a pair of amigurumi budgies and a set of mario mushroom amigurumi decorations.

Now time to relax a bit and make something for myself, I’m thinking a nice shrug to knit.

Jennifer, you are so talented. I wish I could knit like that. I can knit but I just don’t have the patience for it.

    Well done.

Thanks Leona, I have to say I fell completely head over heels in love with knitting when I started to learn a few years ago, became completely addicted and it’s just as well that most of the time I can do it while sat in front of the telly 😀
