Another birthday related post, this time about mine. Having a very busy birthday planned and going to see lots of family and really having not baked anything for quite a while, I decided to make a couple of boxes of cupcakes to take with me. Here is a small sample of what I ended up taking:

All recipes are from Cookie Girl and are: pink frosting – raspberry and white chocolate; green frosting – pistachio and lime; white icing – lemon and elderflower. They were gratefully received although I have only tasted the lemon and elderflower as I am a complete sucker for anything lemon, I hope to sample the other two flavours before all the cakes have disappeared – might be a reason to go and put the kettle on about now.
