I have taken up Amigurumi or the crocheting of little animals and novelties, partly to use up remnants of yarn from bigger knitting projects, but mainly because they are just so darn cute!

This is my first attempt, it is Mr Octopus from Annie Obaachan’s Super Cute!

Hello Mr Octopus, I like your googly eyes!

I think he’s pretty cute, not bad for a first attempt and he cost pennies to make!  All I needed to purchase were the eyes and now I have a stash of them!
