Thanks to the Great British Bake Off currently showing on BBC 2, I have really been in the mood to bake lately, and I have remembered to take photos this time! I have especially been in the mood for baking bread. Last weekend I baked some lovely Rosemary bread containing not only rosemary but cheese and onion, all good things 😀 this weekend was the turn of this oatmeal loaf.

I think it turned out pretty well, but I don’t think I worked it enough to start off with as, if you look at the inside, I think the texture might be a bit too dense, but I worked it as much as my arms could stand.

But I’m not too concerned about it as it tasted lovely and went really well with the chicken cacciatore I made for dinner, good for mopping up juices!
