I made these buns on a Sunday afternoon, simply because I happened to have all the ingredients handy and I really really like buns just out of the oven, especially for tea on a Sunday evening.
The recipe os from the Guardian by Dan Lepard and was really easy to follow and simple to do, it just takes time.
I made 12 buns in all, which meant I could take one into work every morning to have with coffee. They don’t keep very well, but 30 seconds in the microwave and they were back to being soft and yummy!
I was really pleased with how these turned out, their texture was fluffly and delicious, not heavy like sometimes my bready type makes can be. I will definitely be making these again!
